Dr. Ron Ohlson is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been helping people in the State of Alaska for over thirty years. He holds a PH.D. degree from Fuller Theological Seminary Graduate School of Psychology. He is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology.

During his years as a practicing psychotherapist, Dr. Ohlson has utilized hypnosis to help people overcome some of the difficulties that they experience in life. He is an Approved Consultant in Clinical Hypnosis, granted by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

In this program, Dr. Ohlson will teach the techniques of self-hypnosis which may be very powerful in helping people overcome the serious struggle to quit smoking. He will use the same program that has been very successful for over 28 years, enabling some people to quit smoking permanently.

However, this program is not intended to be a substitute for personal psychological and medical treatments which may be necessary in order to completely accomplish personal change goals. Therefore, in addition to this valuable program, it may be wise to consult with a mental or physical health professional.

For over twenty-six years Dr. Ron Ohlson has been helping people quit smoking by using the power of hypnosis. 

Although nicotine is a very powerfully addictive drug, most smokers find that they can quit when they are ready to do so. This program may help you quit smoking permanently, using your unconscious mind which is accessed through hypnotic suggestion. It is very safe and effective. There are no side effects, and you will be encouraged to quit smoking without gaining weight.

This program is contained on an audiotape that you will play in a safe place where there is no risk for you to become too drowsy (do not play this tape while you are driving a vehicle or operating machinery or in any situation in which drowsiness will be dangerous). As you listen you will learn how to put yourself into a pleasant, relaxed hypnotic state and give yourself suggestions that will enable your unconscious mind to help you overcome your nicotine/smoking habit.

On SIDE A of the tape, Dr. Ohlson some of the reasons why people smoke and some reasons that people give for quitting. He will point out the stages that people normally go through as they attempt to quit smoking. 

The Dr. Ohlson will introduce you to self-hypnosis, giving you suggestions for going into a deep state of relaxation. You can memorize these suggestions so that you can learn to place yourself in a comfortable relaxed state very quickly. In addition, on SIDE A Dr. Ohlson will give you some important strategies of preparing yourself to quit smoking forever. 

You will practice listening to SIDE A for a period of a week, carefully following the instructions for preparing to quit. However, you will continue to smoke during that week as a crucial part of getting yourself ready for the big day.
The quit day. You then select a day that you will quit smoking. On that day you will play SIDE B of the tape, which will teach you hypnotic suggestions for finally quitting smoking forever. 

Then you will continue to play SIDE B of the tape, starting every day and then less often for a three week period. In addition, you will e-mail Dr. Ohlson every day, saying that you are a victorious non-smoker. It works!! Dr. Ohlson has had wonderful success with people who have worked this program. You can be a non-smoker by faithfully following this program!
